Being in the field of graphic design, creativity is highly important to my success as a designer at Webspec Design. I am lucky I get to be creative every day, producing new website design ideas and concepts. But, when my creativity suffers, unfortunately so does my work. Knowing human nature, we all fall into a routine because it’s our way of completing life’s tasks with few frustrations and challenges. We tend to take the easier route because it’s the one we know. By doing so, we go into autopilot mode and lose the ability to think creatively.

No matter what it looks like on the outside, there is always a great story within. Get to know your client more than your usual comfort zone allows.

When you are working to create a branding identity for either yourself or for a client, getting outside of your routine will be beyond beneficial. Instead push both yours and their comfort zones into envisioning something dynamic, yet true to who they are. Branding is a great way to draw attention, and you want to make sure you have thought of all avenues before your audience’s eyes are scanning your work. In order to push comfort zones, getting out of routines is essential. Trying different things eventually leads you to think about the entire brand in a new way. For example, try to switch up where you could picture the company being displayed for advertising or marketing.
