Chief Executive Officer/Founder
The one who started it all. Jeremiah loves to meet potential clients and help them get connected to the team members who can make their online dreams become a reality. You might run into him at an Urbandale Chamber of Commerce event or catch him around town networking and presenting as a guest speaker. In rare moments when he isn't working, he enjoys playing piano pieces ranging from classical to modern.
Chief Operations Officer
In his years at Webspec, Aaron's many roles have included marketing, project management, development, systems administration, and more. In his role as our Chief Operations Officer, he helps manage the direction of our development teams and supports Webspec's technical infrastructure. If you need something urgent from him, word has it he can easily be bribed with a cold Dr. Pepper.
Vice President of Strategy
Lindsey's career at Webspec began in content, where she helped build up the experience and service offerings of the digital marketing team over the years. As Vice President of Strategy, she leads the internal direction of Webspec teams to ensure our staff are well-equipped to give our clients the best possible experience when working with us. In her personal life, she happens to be a proud owner of 52 house plants (and counting).
Our sales & strategy team aims each day to make sure our schedules are filled with new clients who need our help improving their online presence. They make phone calls, schedule meetups, and network to set the groundwork for great relationships with clients who are ready to start a project with us.
Director of Sales
Emily is the sales team's hustler extraordinaire, networking around Des Moines, across the Midwest, and beyond to build up the client relationships that allow us to keep creating websites, marketing strategies, and digital tools. She takes point on sales that require additional care and communication and collaborates with the team to ensure a smooth handoff into the project phase.
Our websites division handles website designs and builds both large and small, along with extensive branding work. Need a website that looks great and is easy to update? Our team is on it. Need regular updates and hosting for your WordPress site? We have you covered. Need to start from scratch and create an entire brand identity? Say no more. This team works hard to exceed expectations for the look and functionality of all client projects.
Director of Websites & Design
As Webspec's Director of Websites, Kelly hustles to provide consistent process guidance for the members of the websites division. In addition to helping refine team processes, she also helps set expectations for new projects and establishes a smooth handoff for clients moving from the sales phase to the project teams. In her free time, you may catch her showing off her salsa dancing skills in the Chicago area.
Our digital marketing team has seen it all, from sites with blogs that have been stale since the early days of the internet to ad strategies that have never seen the word “digital.” The content, SEO, social media, and advertising experts on the team are ready to take whatever you throw at them and turn it into a comprehensive marketing strategy you can be proud of.
Director of Marketing
As the leader of the digital marketing division, Glenn wrangles clients and team members alike to ensure everyone is on the same page and working toward our shared goals. He meets with potential clients to show them how Webspec can improve their online strategies and trains digital marketing team members on the newest updates in the world of SEO. Glenn often regales his team with stories about his hobbies, among which is a penchant for collecting rare stamps and coins.
Our apps & products division works to make digital processes easier. We use the Laravel framework to develop custom tools for both one-off solutions and scalable products. The members of this team specialize in making easy-to-use features that our clients can expand on for years to come, as well as working to identify opportunities to create features that can be resold and built on over time.
Director of Product Development
Stacey oversees the management and development of both the apps and products sides of the team. In her role, she cultivates relationships with our ongoing application clients and helps ensure her team's developers have the resources and time necessary to balance product development and application work. Stacey is one of Webspec's avid bookworms, and she always aims to read 52 books a year (and usually succeeds!).
Our government & Drupal division are the experts when it comes to public-sector websites, especially ones that use Drupal as a CMS. These team members are no strangers to dealing with big stakeholder groups, huge content transfers, and the detailed technical requirements that come along with digital projects for government and education.
Director of Government Services
As the Director of Government Services/Program Manager, Tom oversees the broad scope of the program to ensure government public-facing websites stay up and runnning and serve their constituents. He spends his time working with the State of Iowa and other public agencies to develop strategies to enhance and maintain all aspects of their websites that use the Drupal CMS. With Tom being a retired US Navy submarine guy, he spends his free time supporting various local and national submarine veteran-related causes.
Webspec's administrative team is what keeps the business running smoothly day-to-day. Without them, we wouldn't effectively be able to manage staff, improve our technical infrastructure, or efficiently communicate billing processes with clients. They support Webspec's staff and keep us all organized, for which we are grateful.
