From inception to the present, we’ve adjusted our core values over the years to match what’s most important to us when serving our clients and working together. Additionally, here are some things we prioritize when it comes to providing a work environment you can be proud to be a part of.
We understand that people aren’t just work robots, and depending on your family, lifestyle, and personality, how you work best may look different from what works best for someone else. Our office space in Des Moines, Iowa is always available for our employees to work, but we also employ staff in fully remote roles & locations. Even if you’re located in the Des Moines area, there is availability to work remotely and work on a flexible schedule that supports your preferred work-life balance.
Availability for the Time Off You Need
Ever wish you had more time off available during a year with a lot of unknowns (looking at you, 2020)? Webspec’s official time away from work policy is to “take the time you need,” with no firm limits on the number of days you have available for sick time, appointments, vacation, or mental health days. We find that this policy increases flexibility for our employees without the shame or pressure associated with feeling like you’ve requested “too much” time away from work.
We’re happy to help support your growth in your current role and help you reach toward whatever your next desired role or skill set is. Through training funds, we’re able to send our employees to conferences and specific training sessions throughout the year to help them grow and bring back new information that can help their teams! Employees work with their manager or team lead to request trainings that they’re interested in—we’re always happy to explore new opportunities for our team.
Insurance & Wellness Incentives
Our full-time employees are all eligible to choose from three different health insurance plans, so you can select what works best for you and your family. Dental and vision benefits are also available. Wellness looks a little bit different for everyone, and we understand that mental and physical health are interconnected. Webspec’s wellness incentive program allows employees to earn additional monthly income by making choices to support their health, like participating in workouts, purchasing a gym membership, doing daily meditations, attending annual physical exams, and more.
Love dogs? We do, too! You’re welcome to bring your furry friend to work with you, which always brings employees in the office a little extra joy, too.
Without the hard work of our employees, we wouldn’t be able to keep providing the world-class service and products our clients have come to expect. Because of this, we have a company-wide bonus plan that provides our employees with bonus pay based on company revenue.
