Paws & Pints

Categories: Branding Website Design & Development

2 min. read

In 2019, the owners of Paws & Pints, Megan and Kyle, took the first steps towards fulfilling their unique and complex idea for a new business. Their vision was to create a place where dogs and their owners could enjoy time with friends.

As envisioned by Megan and Kyle, this all-inclusive park would provide a variety of different amenities, activities, and services catering to both the dogs and their owners under one roof. They contacted Webspec to help them create a brand identity from the ground up.

The Challenge

Megan and Kyle cast a bold vision for the broad range of services their new business would provide. In order to do that vision justice, their brand identity would need to be just as bold and flexible. Additionally, we knew it would be crucial to help investors and sponsors see their vision as a concrete reality.

Creating a Brand Identity

Our team collaborated with Megan and Kyle to fully flesh-out the Paws & Pints brand identity. Together, we collaborated to identify their key user personas in order to better understand how Paws & Pints could better serve those users’ needs. This process helped us all to recognize that we would need to position Paws & Pints as a cross between the comfort and convenience of your local pub and the over-the-top luxury of a spa for your loyal companion.

Designing a Logo

Designing a logo that would reflect the Paws & Pints brand identity while simultaneously conveying the broad range of services they plan to offer was one of the initial hurdles. In collaboration with Megan and Kyle, it was decided that each business unit would have its own unique logo sub-branded to have a similar look and feel to the Paws & Pints logo.

Collateral Supporting Materials

Our next step in the process was to develop prototype collateral supporting material in order to attract investors and sponsors. From designing traditional print items like menus, brochures, and business cards to creating specialized merchandising items such as leashes, collar,  t-shirts, and tennis balls, our creative team of designers has helped Megan and Kyle bring their vision to life.

Paws & Pints Website

Along with our brand identity efforts, Megan and Kyle felt it was important to create a website for Paws & Pints as well. At the website, interested parties can find out more about the services Paws & Pints will offer, become members, and apply to become an employee. We are proud to be able to help Megan and Kyle bring their personal vision to life and look forward to seeing their success going forward.
