Webspec has recently invested in state-of-the-art physical servers in a secure data center that is staffed 24/7 with security personnel and IT professionals. Our physical servers are regularly updated by our in-house server manager and the hardware is regularly updated by the IT professionals.
2. Server Monitoring 24/7
We have 24/7 monitoring and scan every site on our server on a five minute basis to ensure that none of our sites have been tampered with. We are notified immediately if there are any issues with the server and address the issues as soon as possible.
3. Backups, Backups, Backups!
We regularly backup the sites that host with us. Webspec has a copy of each site from daily, weekly, and monthly backups. This enables us to quickly restore your site to a previous version in the event that you make a change to your site that you didn’t mean to. To do this, we pull the last instance of uncorrupted files and place them on your live site after they have been cleared of issues.

4. Regular Security Updates
We install regular security updates to the sites on our servers to increase the protection of not only the individual sites but the server as a whole. When one site isn’t updated, the entire server is at risk. To combat this, we make sure to keep all of the sites we host up-to-date with the latest security updates for their respective platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Yii and Laravel, to name a few).
5. Free Repair & Restoration if a Hack Occurs for Eligible Plans
In the unlikely event that your website experiences a security breach or hack, we will begin working to repair and restore it immediately at no cost for those on eligible plans. Hacks can be expensive to restore if you are not on our top-tier managed hosting plan — if we don’t have your backup, the time it takes to restore your site to what it should be will be considerably higher.

When you need assistance or have a question about your hosting, just give us a call. You won’t find a robotic help system, recorded message or buggy chat system. We make ourselves accessible to you and are here to help any way we can with your hosting needs.
